From Guidel to Larmor-Plage, the long beaches of fine sand are a delight for families and lovers of water sports such as sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. In the background, we see Fort Bloqué, the citadel of Port-Louis, the island of Groix! In Hennebont, a stopover is a must. Take a stroll along the round path which offers an unobstructed view of the gardens and ramparts of the Ville-Close. If you are passionate about river fishing, you will prefer a campsite on the banks of the Scorff and the Blavet in the heart of Morbihan, as do kayakers, hikers (GR 38) and cyclists from elsewhere.
A little escapade from the Rhuys Peninsula to La Roche Bernard in Brittany
The Rhuys Peninsula does not lack interests either. We discover the castle of Suscinio, former residence of the Dukes of Brittany built at the end of the Middle Ages, but also the Cairn du Petit Mont, the Abbey of Saint-Gildas, the marina of Crouesty and Port-Navalo or the salt marshes of Lasné, refuge of thousands of birds. On the road that leads to La Roche-Bernard, a small town of character with its old port, its old quarters and its craftsmen's workshops, stay in Damgan, a charming seaside resort famous for its large fine sandy beaches from where you can see the Guérande Peninsula. Near Muzillac, you will enjoy spending an afternoon with the children at Branféré Zoo, the most visited park in Morbihan. Another nearby discovery: the Arzal dam, the largest estuary dam in Europe!
